Axtria participated at the recently held PMSA 2014 conference in Orlando, its presentations “Measuring the value of providing call plans to the field sales” and “20 Tweets in 20 Minutes covering 20 Years in Pharmaceutical Management Sciences” were given the honor of best podium presentation.

The presentation “Measuring the value of providing call plans to the field sales” emphasized the importance of integrating the call planning with execution of pharmaceutical sales. Efforts were also been made to understand some of the fundamental questions like, How would the representatives perform without any call plans (compared to those who had a plan)? Do we facilitate the representatives to make their own call plans? While discussing this, Axtria believed that Pharmaceutical companies, based on their internal cultures, could set up controlled experiments to answer these questions

The other presentation “20 Tweets in 20 Minutes covering 20 Years in Pharmaceutical Management Sciences”, Patrick was reminiscent of 1990’s when he was a young graduate with some operations research training and was dreaming of deploying the Simplex method to solve the problems of the day. He highlighted his journey of last twenty years that have ushered in evolutionary and revolutionary changes to the pharmaceutical industry, changes that restructure core pieces of our industry, the work we do and the way we work.
