We are delighted to announce that Axtria will be participating in the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association’s (PMSA) 2019 Winter Symposium in Las Vegas at The Signature at MGM Grand. This year’s theme is “Innovation in Analytics via Machine Learning & AI.”
The symposium takes place January 17th – 18th and it offers an exclusive opportunity for attendees to discuss how artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are being hailed as the future of data analytics. On Thursday at 3:45 pm, Axtria’s Ashish Sharma, Principal, will be participating in a panel discussion on the topic of “Conceptualizing Data Science Capabilities and Organizational Structure Within Pharma Manufacturers.” The panel will be made up of industry experts from a biopharmaceutical company to a data analytics company that helps pharma clients make better data-driven decisions. On Friday morning, grab your coffee, and join Axtria’s, Sravan Kumar Bhamidipati, Decision Science Director, and Vijay Chickarmane, Decision Science Manager, at 8:00 am. They will be presenting on the topic of “Machine Learning Applications in Commercial Life Sciences.” This session will focus on the application of ML techniques on medical claims data. One of the important business problems is to gain an understanding of adoption patterns for a certain class of products. In addition, they will discuss the current state of the art of ML applications in life sciences. They will review some of the latest work done and look at potential areas of future opportunity in the commercial life sciences industry. Don’t miss this 90-minute session on Thursday morning.
The Symposium will also cover topics such as: uncovering the ML “black box”, predictive modeling problems with ML, what makes an AI strategy a success? and lots more.
