There is no doubt that the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association’s (PMSA) annual conference is one of the most eagerly awaited events on the Pharma calendar. This year’s theme is “Discover the Magic” with a focus on the leading trends in Pharma analytics.

As the Pharma ecosystem continues to evolve, the industry leaders are those able to invest in innovation, take advantage of the latest data sources, integrate them into the enterprise and drive meaningful insights. And this is the real magic we will help you to discover!

Axtria, shares a long association with PMSA, and we are excited to be back at this year’s conference as a Gold Sponsor. We have a lot of activity planned between April 23rd and 26th with thought-leading presentations, informative conference tutorials, engaging poster, innovative showcases and lots of networking opportunities!

In fact, we kick-off our activities before the conference starts, with David Wood and Charlie Thompson running the pre-conference tutorials on “Best Practices in Designing, Measuring, and Optimizing Marketing & Sales Effectiveness”. This 4-hour session will touch on key challenges and best-practice approaches across Segmentation & Targeting, Marketing Mix, Market Access & Payer Analytics.

On Tuesday, Kedar Naphade and Andrew Keleher from Axtria will be presenting a general session on “Analytics Innovation Readiness: A Benchmarking Study.” This session will focus on how organizations are impeded in their ability to innovate. They will talk about the benchmark study that Axtria has conducted and discuss how factors like data management strategy and technology, organizational silos, regional variations and limited analytical expertise are restricting the organizations ability to innovate. Don’t miss this session on Tuesday from 9:15 am to 10:00 am.

The same day, from 2:30 pm to 3:15 pm Ashish Sharma and Cheng Wang will be presenting in the Real World Evidence track, answering the question “Can Social Media Data Improve Sales Forecasting?”. Their presentation will focus on how social listening data can be a viable and valuable input to sales forecasting and how it can provide a new perspective.

Kishan Kumar and Juhi Parikh will be ready to take you through their poster presentation on “Identifying clinical trial sites using new age data sources”. While Vineet Rathi and Ankit Kumar will be very pleased to take you through their poster presentation on “Data Strategy and Governance: A strategic enabler of next generation analytics”.

Alongside these great sessions, please make some time to visit the Axtria Booth in the exhibit hall. This will provide the opportunity to meet with our leadership, discuss your challenges and allow us to showcase our latest innovations across Data Science, Commercial Operations and Cloud Information Management. We also have a few surprises this year, and promise to Bring the Magic to PMSA 2017!
