Axtria delivered its second session on ‘Sales Force Sizing & Portfolio Optimization’ during PMSA Webinar Series 2015 on 30th September

In the second PMSA Webinar Series 2015 session, which is a one-of-its-kind platform for discussion and collaboration on best practices in sales operations, Axtria’s David Wood (PhD) and Rajnish Kumar delivered another engaging session on ‘Sales Force Sizing & Portfolio Optimization’. The webinar discussed the various approaches to determining the best sales force size (SFS) and covered several key areas such as:

  •          Classic approaches to Sales Force Sizing
  •          Advantages and limitations
  •          Illustrative case studies

    This informative session, attended by professionals, received high scores on its insightfulness & applicability as well as speaker’s ability to engage the audience. The session attracted several reviews such as - ‘a great overview of sizing exercises’, ‘a very good primer for people without direct experience in sizing work’ , and more. A much – appreciated aspect of the presentation was its simplicity in delivering some of the more complex concepts of modelling and scenario analysis. To quote one of the participants – “..I like the way the presentation started with the basic models and built layers of complexity on top of the basic approach’.
