Explore Next Generation Analytics with Axtria at PMSA 2018!

We are excited to announce that Axtria will be participating in the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association’s (PMSA) annual conference yet again. This year’s theme is “Next Generation Analytics.”

The conference takes place April 29th - May 2nd and is one of the most eagerly awaited events on the Pharma calendar.  We are looking forward to the illuminating presentations, as well as engaging discussions across all aspects of commercial planning and operations.

We have a lot of conference activities planned, including thought-leading presentations, informative conference tutorials, engaging poster presentations, innovative showcases, and lots of networking opportunities!

On Monday, Axtria’s Ashish Sharma, Principal, and Kaiwen Zhong, Senior Associate, will be presenting on the topic of “From Unstructured to Structured Data: Can Machine Learning Help Make Sense of EMR/EHR Data?” This session will focus on how ML and natural language processing can be utilized to manage unstructured data efficiently. Ashish and Kaiwen will address various forms of unstructured data ranging from images and text documents, to semi-structured data.  Explore the different ML tools and algorithms for production and scalability that turn unstructured data into valuable information quickly. Don’t miss this 45-minute session on Monday at 10:15 am.

Following, on Wednesday  at 8.15 am Axtria’s David Wood, Ph.D., and Shubham Lahoti, Associate Director, will be presenting on the topic of “Measuring Direct and Indirect Influence of Account Managers.” Their session will focus on the methodology used to measure the interaction effect between account managers and sales reps, and how to use that to size the two teams.  Discover how to quantify a promotion response, how to measure interaction effects, and how to size two teams simultaneously.

In addition to Axtria’s general session presentations, we will be exhibiting two thought-provoking posters. Sameer Sardana, Senior Director, will be presenting a poster on “Measuring the Financial and Non-Financial Impact of Sales Contests Investments” and Shubham Lahoti will be presenting “Measuring Health System Patient Flow for Effective Targeting.”

Devesh Verma, Principal, Axtria also moderates a panel discussion on Next Generation Pharma Analytics. Scheduled from 3.30 pm – 5.00 pm on May 1st, it will be most interesting to hear the industry experts in a roundtable session.

Devesh Verma will additionally conduct a 60 minutes Focus Group Discussion on May 1st 6.15 pm onwards to understand the industry perspective on “Adoption of Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Techniques to Enhance Customer Experience.”
